Following the sudden loss of my husband, Mr Jan Timmermans, several decisions of an organisational nature have been taken, which I would like to bring to your attention. As of 14 December 2004, the management of all companies that are part of the Holding J. Timmermans Diessen have been taken over by me, the undersigned. I will be advised and assisted in this by Mr J. Hendrikx, tax consultant, and Mr B. Schlosser, who have been employed by our company for many years as a member of the supervisory board.
The operational management of Timmermans concerning transport and logistical activities will remain the responsibility of Mr K. Hakvoort. No further changes are planned in the organisational field.

In recent years the company has taken many strategic decisions, some of which have already been implemented. Decisions that are to ensure that Timmermans transport & logistics continues to meet its
customers' wishes. Last year, for example, saw a substantial investment in new computer systems, including Roadrunner and Warehouserunner. This year the fleet of trucks will for a part be replaced by 38 new vehicles, which are safer and more economical.

For many years I have been directly involved in the background with the operational management and strategic decision making. It has allowed me to become well informed and involved in many areas. Together with the staff of Timmermans I look forward to the future with confidence. And I also hope that the co-operation built up with you over the years may continue in the future.
