Who might benefit from VAL?
For example, importers of goods from the Far East, who have their goods shipped to Timmermans in containers and cleared. The containers are then unloaded, the goods stored and entered in the books.
Every day orders are received in accordance with the customers' wishes, and subsequently collected by staff and made ready for shipment. The Planning department assigns the vehicles for the distribution of these goods, which are subsequently delivered at the required place and time.
The activities to be performed may differ considerably and are always customer specific. Given the wide range of services offered by Timmermans, these activities can always be combined or expanded with existing logistic processes.
